First Time Blogger!

Hi all -welcome to my attempt at blogging! I love to keep up with all of my blogger friend's lives with their blogs so I thought I'd give it a whirl.

What's new with me? Well, daughter Katie just completed third grade with an excellent report card. She was having a little difficulty with math again this year, but we pulled it off and she's very proud of herself. Brian and I have agreed to have a tutor work with her over the summer as she and I butt heads, and he's just not up to speed on some of that stuff. Hopefully she not only stays on track for 4th grade, but is ahead of the game when she starts back in September.

We're on the home stretch for our week of vacation starting June 30th, cannot wait to have a few days off to spend at home. But I'm afraid Brian has ulterior motives...fixing our sidewalk, digging up our flower bed (or shall I say Weed Bed) and washing windows. I was thinking more along the lines of sleeping late, going to the movies, a massage and mani/pedi. Oh well, maybe we can fit them all in. Hopefully I'll have lots of time to blog!
